Spent the day working on a new kitchen island. Almost ready for the new countertop. Wish I was exempt from the regular days chores.

Between flattery and admiration there often flows a river of contempt.

Thinking back to my younger days, I had the opportunity to get my pilots license for free.

My younger self was not so smart.

Starting preparations for our first Boxing Day feast since Covid shut us down. A full breakfast for 40-60 family and close friends.

We even have staff shirts made up with a family crest, modified for the occasion.

Just trying to figure out what I am doing here.
