Microblogvember is over and so is the daily pressure to post.

I have always wanted to blog but never thought I had much to say. After re-reading these posts I am hoping this challenge and will keep my on the path and maybe, someday there will be something worth reading.

Is this what it’s like to trend?

Looking for motivation to focus when there is too much to do. The countertop for the new island will be ready this week. Still a few things to do before we are ready for it.

Two new courses purchased this weekend for Web and iOS Development. A new commitment to myself to expand my skills over the winter.

Even though we shutdown the trailer weeks ago, it is hard to get over our Friday night ritual of jumping in the truck and heading out as soon as we get home from work.

My ability to retain information the moment I have switched tabs, or programs, or rooms seems to be slipping.

I recently pulled the pin on an update to the Apple Watch Ultra. Moving from my Series 3, anything would have been better but the extra battery life, larger size and more durable case were the biggest draws for me.

In my younger days I used to work as a line cook in a busy restaurant. No real chance for a break so we would graze on our shift on “mistakes”. Oops… extra chicken fingers were prepared or I thought you ordered 2 cheeseburgers.

First snow fall of the season. No real accumulation but I had to clear ice from the truck windows this morning.

I find myself stuck in a loop. Every year as winter approaches I say to myself: I want to learn to code, I start some training, realize I don’t have the time, repeat.

I find it really hard to pick up a new novel once I am finishing reading it. I become a little too invested in the story and characters.
